Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Marinca is a Romanian born actress. Her first screen appearance was in Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 movie for which she won the British Academy Television Award as the Best Actress. She is fluent in French, German English, as well as Romanian. Her father is a theater professor at one of Romania's top theater schools. She was awarded the Best Female Actor of the Year 2000 Award during the Young Actor Gala Mangalia. The award was given to her as the first European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. The actress was an academic of the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu. bAnamaria is an Romanian actress born on April 1, 1978, Iasi Romania. As an actress with Romanian descendance, Anamaria Marinca made her debut in the film industry in the TV series British-Canadian Sex Traffic for which she received the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. Alongside her impressive performance in her first film, the actress will also be remembered for role in the Romanian art film 4 months 3 Weeks and 2 Days which won her many awards like the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. In 2007, her role on Cristian Mungiu's Romanian art film 4 luni 3 weeks si 2 days (4 months 3 weeks and 2 days), won both the Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and two more awards. The Cinema Prize for the French National Education System as well as the FIPRESCI Prize. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was a different film in which she appeared. In 2008 she played Yasim anwar in BBC series The Last Enemy. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. In the movie Fury (2014) in which she appeared as Irma who was a German woman who was Emma's aunt.
